Abstract

Account book kept by Charles Snipe, 1768-86, of Germantown, Maine (then Massachusetts) recording goods and services bought and sold including corn, peas, cloth, linen, shoes, rum, among other items. Also includes payment for boats used by Massachusetts Militia under the command of Brig. Gen. Solomon Lovell during the Siege of Penobscot, July-Oct 1779.
